Interview with a former TeenModeling.TV child model

With so many child modeling agencies around the world, you can't help but find yourself wondering what becomes of the children that were photographed and how they're affected by what happened to them. We were lucky enough to get the opportunity to interview a former child model from TeenModeling.TV and to have her reflect on her experience and provide an insight into what went on and how it still affects her today.

OpExposure: On how many occasions (approximately), did you pose as a model during photography sessions with Rodney Kress?

Former Model: From what I can recall, I worked approximately one 40 hour week with Rodney.

OpExposure: How did Rodney describe the intentions behind producing these images?

Former Model: Rodney explained that he had vast network of professional contacts, including talent/modeling agents and other people who are able to launch young models’ careers. He said that these people pay him a lot of money to provide them with new talent. He said that he could not guarantee fame, but he felt that I had a lot of potential and that modeling for him would open a lot of doors.

OpExposure: Did Rodney ever make it clear that the images being produced were being sold on the internet to members of the public?

Former Model: No. He said that the photos were sold only to professional, legitimate professionals in the modeling world. He vaguely explained that only a few sample photos would be available online and that he ensured full access was only sold to these business-minded professionals.

OpExposure: During the photography sessions did Rodney ever ask you to pose inappropriately or ask you to do things that made you feel uncomfortable?

Former Model: Yes. The first couple of days were markedly more comfortable for me as a young teenager. The environment was light and I was given a lot of freedom to wear outfits that I liked and pose in ways I felt comfortable. It was fun at first. Then, he and a partner became more insistent that I needed to dress for certain themes. Pajamas, formal dresses, mature Halloween-like costumes, and other overtly sexualized outfits. The poses also become more “adult-like” as he called it. He explained that if I wanted to seem like a versatile young model, I would need to prove that I could look older. I felt strange about this, but by that time, he had gained my trust. I felt that I couldn’t back out, after he had put so much time into working with me. After those last few days, I remember feeling very uncomfortable and like I had done something wrong. But as a naïve young person, I was entirely unaware of the ill-intentions of the people who were granted easy access to these images.

OpExposure: Can you tell us about the types of clothing you were made to pose in?

Former Model: Some of the outfits were age-appropriate as a young teenager; sandals, jeans, tank-tops, and colorful jewelry. These photos did not appear as frequently on the website. Rodney preferred to publish the photos that were taken in string bikinis, skimpy pajamas, and other revealing dresses. Again, he insisted that versatility was important and insisted that I wear props like wigs, angel wings, fishnet stockings, tall heels, and similar items that I retrospectively recognize as objects of some sexual fetishes.

OpExposure: Based upon your dealings with Rodney Kress, did you ever get the impression that he possibly has a sexual interest in prepubescent and teenage girls, or is it that he's purely motivated by unscrupulous greed?

Former Model: I cannot say with any certainty that he himself has pedophilic tendencies, but he did seem to enjoy taking the photos. He played loud music and was often smiling and laughing. I feel that he was amused by my discomfort as the outfits and poses became more provocative. He is likely motivated by greed above all else.

OpExposure: Are you aware that there are networks of pedophiles actively operating on the internet trading and exchanging these types of images of underage girls?

Former Model: Yes, I am aware of this. The work of OpExposure has made this reality much clearer to me.

OpExposure: In hindsight how do you feel about what happened to you during this period of your life?

Former Model: I am deeply saddened and ashamed about my participation on Rodney Kress’ website. I feel that my innocence, naiveté, and hopes for a future of financial stability were exploited. I suffer from anxiety as a result of my time spent with Rodney and from knowing that my photos have been seen by countless pedophiles. I also feel some guilt for having inadvertently contributed to the musings of pedophiles who were/are possibly hurting young children in real life. I am also profoundly angry that Rodney Kress and people like him make such riches by catering to pedophiles using non-nude photos that are technically legal. I struggle with this anger ten years later, which is why I am happy to contribute to the mission of OpExposure.

OpExposure: What would you say to any girls that might be considering posing for Rodneys website "TeenModeling.TV"?

Former Model: Don’t. Period. Aside for the moral issue of contributing to pedophilia, you alone will need to personally live with the image of strangers, secretly purchasing images of you and your body to cater to their own sick obsessions with young, pre-pubescent girls. Consider the possibility that these individuals may then become inspired to hurt young girls in real life. Don’t pose for people like Rodney Kress because he will profit immensely off of you and you will receive next to nothing. There are no positive outcomes to posing for TeenModeling.TV for anyone other than Rodney Kress, his associated, and the pedophiles who purchase your photos.

OpExposure: If you could say anything to Rodney Kress and other people like him doing this to children, what would you say?

Former Model: It is a miscarriage of justice that you are not in jail. You are no better than then people who purchase your photos or those who sexually exploit children while not sitting in front of their computer. Rodney, you are a father. Imagine how you would feel if men were looking at your daughter the way that your clientele look at the young children that you exploit on your website.

OpExposure: We would like to thank you for taking the time to answer our questions.

Gegg Agency

Thomas Schwing of Leipzig, Germany operated the child modeling agency known as "Gegg Agency." Schwing would exploit prepubescent girls from the neighboring Czech Republic by featuring them on his website, up until Schwing was eventually raided and arrested by Czech police in 2005. Schwing's agency experienced notable popularity amongst the pedophiles which collected the sets produced by it.

Reb's "Fine Arts" Galleries

Donald Raymond Croft II AKA Donald Croft II, Donald R Croft, Rebel Shooter, Reb operated a child modelling agency known as "Reb's Fine Arts Galleries" from his home in Livonia, Michigan up until he was arrested in 2012 on child pornography charges stemming from some of the images he'd produced.
"Croft stated that he did produce child pornography. He stated he believed the photographs he captured were art. Croft was asked why girls, under 18 years, were featured on his website wearing provocative clothing. He stated he did not feel clothing could be provocative. Croft was informed PayPal filed a complaint against him for selling soiled clothing worn by underage girls. He stated the clothing was not soiled and he did try and sell the used clothing worn by all his models; under or over 18 years of age;"
Following Crofts arrest, Susan Johnston Clinton of Virginia Beach, Virginia was arrested and charged in connection to Crofts website, for aiding in the production of child pornography.

After viewing several of the photos - some of which showed the girl nude except for body paint or wearing fishnet stockings and corsets - Clinton said they should not have been posted on the Internet. She said photos depicting nudity should have been deleted.

During the same interview, however, Clinton said she was "OK" with Croft taking the photos, documents said. She described some of the outfits the girl wore as "age inappropriate" but said she did not have a problem with them.

She said she thought the photographs were used for advertising, maybe for Halloween costumes. She said Croft told her the photos were not child pornography and that he was going to make a book with "art" photos.

The Little Agency that couldn't

Matthew Duhamel
Charles Granere

During the period between 2003 - 2006, Matthew Duhamel of Charles Granere of Salt Lake City, Utah, formed and operated a number of child modeling agencies, until they were eventually brought to justice.
Billy Capps

From 2003-2004, Duhamel and Granere operated a child modeling agency known as "A Model Shop." It's believed that Duhamel was the webmaster for the website, while Granere was his technical asistant. A Model Shop was however discontinued, when one of the photographers, Billy Capps of North Carolina, was arrested and convicted for child sexual exploitation. Capps was sentenced to 6 years in prison and 10 years probation.

Duhamel and Granere didn't let the arrest and conviction of one of their photographers dissuade them and they went back into business, starting a new child modeling agency known as "Flower Studios." This agency fared even worse than the first, within only a number of months another one of their photographers, this time Sheila Sellinger of Shoals, Indiana was facing criminal charges (which she was eventually convicted of) for distributing sexually explicit material involving minors. Sellinger was sentenced to 140 months in prison and a lifetime supervision after release. As per previous, Duhamel and Granere decided it would be best to shut down Flower Studios too.
Sheila Sellinger

However, later that year, Duhamel and Granere created a new child modeling agency known as "A Little Agency." Granere also established another agency entirely separate of "A Little Agency," called "Radiant Studios" (which he would later rename to be "Virtual Model Studios").

This was the state of the situation when they were busted: with Duhamel and Granere co-operating "A Little Agency" and Granere operating his side-project of "Virtual Model Studios"

"Federal agents call the child pornography industry a multiheaded monster. Lop the head off of one site, and another springs up somewhere else.

Money, officials say, and the dark appetites of countless faceless customers is what fuels this industry.

"This industry is a huge, huge moneymaking industry," said special agent-in-charge for the FBI Salt Lake City office, Bob Wright. "It's making money through the exploitation of individuals."

If there wasn't such a high demand, such sites would not keep popping up, Wright said. "It's the sheer monetary benefit of it, which is a sad commentary on society," he said.

Take the recent arrest of a Utah television personality and his Orem business partner who were both charged last week with operating Web sites in which people paid to download photos of 9- and 10-year-old girls dressed in scant clothing.

Federal prosecutors said this week that Matthew John Duhamel, 32, also known as Matt McCoy when he briefly worked as a weather forecaster for KUTV Channel 2, and Charles Phillip Granere, 26, made significant money operating such sites.

According to court documents, Duhamel netted tens of thousands of dollars in less than three months for posting provocative pictures taken by the parents of a 10-year-old girl. The documents show that the mother, who along with her husband were criminally charged in another state, told FBI agents that she was given a check for $17,000 from Duhamel for three months' worth of proceeds from her daughter's racy pictures.

A statement sent to the girl's parents by Duhamel in February 2005 indicated that Duhamel's site "flowerstudios," which has now been shut down, received more than $2,000 in memberships in a single week from a link to their daughter's photo site.

Prosecutors claim Duhamel, who had recently worked as a late-night talk show host on KPNZ Channel 24, had about "six figures" in his bank account when he was arrested.

However, the arrest and charge of the two parents last year sent shock waves through the Internet underground. Messages posted on a discussion board at a preteen modeling Web site "memorialized" the loss of the 10-year-old's "career" due to the arrest. "(She) was one of the fastest rising new models in the industry due to her very liberal outfits and poses and was a major threat to all competitors," the site states.

A Little Agency
News of the arrests caused many "models" to "retire" from their careers and several Web sites to dry up. However, paying customers were offered refunds and warned that if they paid by credit card, to expect to be contacted by law enforcement.

One posting offered to transfer paid accounts from "flowerstudios" to other Web sites offering similar photos of barely dressed children.

U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge Brooke Wells on Tuesday ordered Duhamel released from custody under federal supervision pending the outcome of the charges. During a follow-up hearing Wednesday, Wells also ordered Granere released. Both men have been ordered to have no access to the Internet or unsupervised contact with anyone younger than 18 years.

Federal officials said they could not comment on the case because the investigation is ongoing."

-  Models Elite

Robert Ash
Models Elite is a little known child modeling agency, that was operated by Robert Ash of San Francisco, California. While Ash's endeavor into child modeling appears to have been markedly unsuccessful, it hasn't stopped him from being particularly outspoken in defending his right to take photos of underage girls and to sell the images to pedophiles over the internet.

Like many of these types of so-called child modeling websites, Ash operated a forum to promote his agency. At a glance through some of the topics listed, it appears he used to facilitate live "webcam" shows involving children featured on his website and his venom and animosity towards societies contempt for people like him which sexually exploit children in this manner is also apparent:

"A signal to the community of pornographers you were a part of that this community won't tolerate you"

Leslie Peter Bowcut of Burley, Idaho operated and produced photographs for the child modeling agency known as "Paul Jones Photography." Bowcut operated this child modeling agency up until he was arrested and charged for a number of child sexual abuse related offenses:
Judge hands pedophile 30 years to life
By Shelley Ridenour
Times-News writer

BOWCUT GETS 30 TO LIFE
Peter Bowcut listens to his prison sentence Tuesday in a Burley courtroom before collapsing while leaving the room.

BURLEY Leslie Peter Bowcut collapsed to the floor Tuesday evening after he was sentenced to a minimum of 30 years in prison.

Fifth District Judge Roger Burdick sentenced Bowcut on the third day of a sentencing hearing in Cassia County. Burdick ordered Bowcut to the Idaho state prison for a term of 30 years to life. The determinate -- or mandatory -- portion of the sentence is 30 years, and the remainder is indeterminate, Burdick said. Whether Bowcut serves any of the indeterminate sentence will be decided later by corrections department authorities.

Bowcut fell when sheriff's office authorities began leading him out of the courtroom. His parents and other family members rushed to stand in front of newspaper and television photographers, preventing them from photographing the scene.
Sheriff's officers picked Bowcut up, put him in a courtroom chair which had wheels and pushed him out of the courtroom. He did walk out of the courthouse with his sheriff's office escorts a few moments later.

The case for 30 to life

The courtroom was nearly full for the four-hour proceeding Tuesday. Some 62 people were in the audience when Burdick handed down the sentence. Burdick spent nearly an hour in chambers making his decision after all the testimony was presented.

The judge said the "frenzy" surrounding the Bowcut case was unprecedented in the 20-plus years he's sat on the bench.

"I've been at a loss to why," he said, speculating it may be the "newness" of a child molestation case to the community and the nature of the sexual photographs which Bowcut took of the children, which made his abuse so clear.

Yet, Burdick reminded those at the hearing, sentences aren't issued "on the basis of popularity polls or community reaction." The public must see the sentencing process, he said, and "must believe the sentence was justly imposed," or there will be a loss of faith and respect in the court system.

Burdick pointed out to Bowcut that he minimized his conduct "until, frankly, there was no escape." Bowcut repeatedly told investigators, family members, doctors and therapists that the children he abused and photographed were asleep at the time. Evidence has shown that not to be the case. Burdick discounted Bowcut's remarks that there had been no injury to the souls of the victims.

The judge said he's seen thousands of people who were abused as children in his courtroom and they "continually search their tormented souls."

The judge wasn't surprised by the dichotomy Bowcut exhibited. Sex offenders routinely put on the good side as good community members, youth leaders or parents while abusing victims at the same time, Burdick said.

"You lived that dichotomy for a short time," Burdick said to Bowcut. "Thank God you were caught early."

Burdick recognized that Bowcut showed remorse for his crimes. The judge pointed out that Burdick is "working compulsively at rehabilitation" -- as he worked compulsively on the problems which led him into court.

Burdick said he thinks Bowcut is a candidate for treatment, "Although you'll always be attracted to children."

When citing aggravating circumstances, Burdick referred to the underlying profit motive Bowcut had for taking sexual photos of his victims and then selling them on the Internet. His Web site generated between $7,000 and $10,000 a month in profit, according to earlier court testimony.

The other side of Bowcut's photography business seemed to trouble Burdick, too. Bowcut photographed girls, under the guise of clothing models for advertising purposes, and then posted those images online where people who found such photos stimulating could view those non-pornographic images.

"You were truly stalking to the depths of depravity on these unknowing girls," Burdick said.

Even though Bowcut has no criminal history, the judge said the offenses Bowcut was charged with were "enormous" crimes, and his abuse of young victims "mandates a severe sentence."

Burdick said the minimum of 30 years in prison "is a signal to the community of pornographers you were a part of that this community won't tolerate you."

Probation or incarceration?

Cassia County Prosecuting Attorney Al Barrus had recommended to the judge a sentence of life on each count with no parole before Bowcut served 35 years. After the sentencing, Barrus said the judge's sentence was "appropriate."

When recommending a sentence to Burdick, Barrus said "anything less than a long-term prison sentence sends a message his crime wasn't all that serious."

Barrus shared a statement from one of the victims.

The girl said Bowcut "took a picture of my private spot in front," when she was naked.

"He didn't show it to nobody, nobody, nobody, nobody. He's gonna get mad. I just forgot about it. But today I couldn't forget."

Barrus said in all his years of prosecuting, Bowcut's offenses were the "most heinous and atrocious."

When delivering his closing statement, Barrus said all the professionals who met with Bowcut say he's at least at medium risk of reoffending if he completes a treatment program.

But Barrus said, "When it comes to the protection of little children, any risk is unacceptable."

Barrus voiced concern about the incorrect or incomplete information Bowcut shared with therapists and psychologists prior to his evaluations and treatment. Bowcut "appears to tell a different story depending on who's listening," Barrus said.

Barrus continued to dispute Bowcut's claim that the victims were often asleep when he abused them and they didn't know or understand what was going on. Photos clearly show the girls are "awake, aware and horrified."

In addition, Barrus said Bowcut's claim that he didn't use force to get the victims into the settings he photographed them in wasn't pertinent. "The children were compelled by him. Force doesn't have to be present.

"By his own admission he's a pedophile," Barrus said. "He embraced being a pedophile and encouraged others to be a pedophile."

Bowcut's attorney Steven Richert asked the court to "hand down a fair, just sentence."

He reminded Burdick that the doctors and therapists who testified in court all think Bowcut is treatable.

Richert pointed out that since Bowcut was arrested he has sought assistance. "He wants to be helped."

Sending Bowcut to prison for a long time will prevent Bowcut from getting the appropriate treatment because the Idaho prison system doesn't have much in the way of sex offender treatment, Richert said.

Richert referred to the federal charges Bowcut faces and suggested the judge put Bowcut on the state's retained jurisdiction program for 180 days until the federal government conducts court proceedings related to that charge, then the judge could set a penalty for Bowcut. Richert stopped short of asking for no prison time, but he did ask that any jail time "be limited."

Words from Bowcut, his family

When Bowcut went to the podium to address the judge, sheriff's officers removed his ankle and wrist shackles. Three officers stood between Bowcut and the audience during his allocution.

Bowcut apologized for his actions and took full responsibility "for all the pain I have caused." He has no explanation for why it happened.

He said the situation has been a "horrible experience for me," but he also said he wants to change and "get better."

Bowcut placed blame on no one but himself "and the stupid choices I made."

Ann Harper made a statement on behalf of the victims. She is Bowcut's mother-in-law.

She said Bowcut took "beautiful things" -- the victims -- and "made them ugly."

Harper shared part of a letter from another of her daughters. That woman referred to Bowcut as "every parent's worse nightmare."

Even though Harper tried to protect her family from evil, when her daughter Esther married Bowcut, "The devil insidiously slipped into our midst," she said.

Because of Bowcut's actions, Esther Bowcut has had to move away from her home and family and her family support, Harper said.

ShowStars

ShowStars was a child modeling agency that operated out of Vladivostok, Russia, by an individual known as Vitaly Vilisov. This agency was shut down in August 2007 as the result of an investigation by law enforcement. According to investigators, it's believed that some of the children involved in the agency were being sexually abused by Vilisov:

Child pornographer eludes investigators

The house on Semenovskaia Street
Vladivostok’s Frunzensky Prosecutor’s Office launched a criminal case against a photographer who made and distributed erotic pictures of under-aged girls, a press statement from the office said Wednesday. Meanwhile the accused man fled the city in an unknown direction.

The 38-year-old photographer, identified only as Vitaly V., is charged with performing lecherous actions with the girls in his studio, a rented apartment on Semyonovskaya Street in downtown Vladivostok, where he was taking photos and videos showing the half-naked models in suggestive and erotic poses.

The man distributed the photos and videos through his personal website on the internet where visitors could place an order for any photo or video. The profit from a single foreign order amounted to between $100 and $300, prosecutors said.

For one photo shoot, the young models, from 12 to 15 years old, received payment of 500 to 1,000 rubles ($19.5 to $39). The man recruited girls through newspaper ads seeking ‘girls aged 7-12 and those not older 18 to work as photo models.’ He also hired young prostitutes on Vladivostok streets to model. For inviting a friend or acquaintance of hers to model, a girl received a bonus of 500 rubles.

According to investigators, the man asked some of his models to provide him with sexual services.

After the photographer’s interrogation, during which he only admitted to making ‘decent’ pictures, the man fled, aggravating the investigation process. The case has been put under special supervision, the statement from the Prosecutor’s Office reported."

The "Jimmy Stephans" Story

James Steven Grady AKA Jimmy Stephens of Littleton, Colorado is the owner of and a photographer for the child modeling agency known as "TrueTeenBabes." Grady's website has been a source of controversy since 2002 when he was raided by law enforcement:
On April 5, Arapahoe County, Colo., deputies raided the home and offices of photographer James Steven Grady, who also operated the TrueTeenBabes and TrueTeenCams Web sites.

In the raid, which interrupted live chat session featuring a scantily clad 18-year-old “model,” deputies seized more than 100,000 images of teenage girls, including 220 featuring underage girls posing nude or partially nude, police said. Grady, 42, has pleaded innocent to 886 felony counts of violating a state statute against sexual exploitation of children. He remains in jail in lieu of $500,000 bail and could face a maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted at his trial, currently scheduled to begin on Oct. 3.

The case against Smith, who was arrested after NBC’s Chicago affiliate WMAQ reported that the operation of his teen “model” site apparently violated his parole, may be the strongest of the three, since it is based on the frequently used federal child pornography statute.
In a statement announcing Smith’s indictment, U.S. Attorney Todd Graves said that investigators had seized copies the child pornography that Smith allegedly was selling and had obtained guilty pleas from three ancillary figures in the case, who apparently are cooperating with authorities.
Grady was eventually acquitted of the child pornography charges and continued to operate his agency. However he was losing an increasingly large amount of money due to piracy. So Grady teamed up with the owners of several other child modeling agencies to file a lawsuit against an internet forum which had been established by pedophiles to trade pirated images of girls on Gradys website. Grady also created a website titled "Stalking the Pirates" to expose the people participating in the forum.

This wasn't to be the only lawsuit filed by Grady, in 2010 he also filed suit against one of his former photographers, Terri Rieger Oberle of Largo, Florida, for attempting to set up her own agency after a dispute arose with Grady:

Terri Rieger Oberle
Largo mother, website operator in dispute over young models

LARGO — Terri Rieger Oberle allowed one daughter to appear in underwear and high heels on the website TrueTeenBabes.com. Another daughter appeared topless on the website TeenBabes.com.

And now, in one of the stranger recent civil cases in Pinellas County, the whole arrangement has wound up in court.

Not because it's illegal.

Not because the mother wanted pictures of her young daughters taken off the websites.

Because of money.

Oberle, 47, of Largo says her daughters are 17 and 20 now and began appearing on the websites a year or so ago, when they were "roughly" 16 and 19. The websites list the girls' ages as 15 and 19.
She said the young women who appear on the websites are "attractive in it. They're not illegal or anything like that."

The website featuring her younger daughter shows girls ages 13 through 17 in provocative poses, such as in their underwear and with blouses and pants unbuttoned, but not nude. The other site, which includes the topless photos of her older daughter, claims to feature "America's hottest college girls" and "100-percent exclusive topless and nude photos."

But Oberle says the arrangement broke down when one of her daughters asked the website operator for more money, and "he fired my daughter." He also told her daughters they could not appear on any similar websites, she said.

Oberle declined to comment further.

James S. Grady operates the websites, and he is no stranger to controversy. He was arrested in 2002 in Colorado on more than 700 counts of sexual exploitation of a child, but the number of charges was reduced to 39 by the time the case came to court in 2003. And he was acquitted.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office investigated his websites in 2006 and 2009, but no charges were filed because they did not meet the legal criteria to be considered child pornography, said spokeswoman Cecilia Barreda.

Now Grady, 50, is suing Oberle and the two daughters. He says Oberle signed a "model release" form allowing her younger daughter to appear on his website using stage names. And he says he paid both daughters for their time. It's not clear how much he paid, but information on one of his websites says he pays $100 per hour for photo shoots.

But last year, the lawsuit says, the younger daughter allowed her photo to be used on a different website called modelmayhem.com. And someone else helped her create a competing "pay-per-view" website, the lawsuit says, and offered to auction off "the wardrobe she wears in her shoots." The older daughter also posted her picture on the competing website, the lawsuit says.

Grady's lawsuit says this violated copyrighted work that was prepared for his websites. Grady and his attorney, Luke Lirot, could not be reached for comment.

Video available here: http://video.tbo.com/v/30549726/owner-of-teen-modeling-website-sues.htm

Today Grady continues to operate his child modeling website, TrueTeenBabes, he also operates a forum which he uses to promote his website and others like it, known as "JambaTeens." The JambaTeens forum is moderated by Michael Grimes of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, who also operates his own child modeling agency known as "Sandl Models."

"Friends of Models" Website Operated by Convicted Child Molester

Friends Of Web Models Logo
"Friends Of Web Models" was a forum for pedophiles which promoted various child modeling websites. The forum was operated by a convicted child sex offender known as James Frazee AKA Cd8dad, who also happened to operate his own child modeling agency on top of the forum; that is until he was busted:

2 Charged in Monroe Child Porn Web Site
A registered sex offender and his girlfriend, who have been living in Monroe, are being held on federal and state charges of operating a child pornographic Web site that earned them up to $1,000 a week, federal officials said.

James Frazee of Monroe, Michigan
James Frazee, 52, who was convicted of sexually assaulting a girl younger than 13 in 1990 and 1993, is being held in the Monroe County jail and faces federal prosecution for possession of child pornography. His girlfriend, Patricia Podgajski, 45, is in the Wayne County jail on federal sexual exploitation of a minor charges.

U.S. Assistant Attorney Louis Gabel said the couple had been operating a child pornography Web site involving a picture of minor. "They were taking pictures (of at least one) minor and selling those images over the Internet," Mr. Gabel said. "Some were wearing provocative clothing."Mr. Gabel said federal authorities are continuing to examine computer images seized from the couple's rented home on Winchester St. There were an estimated 500,000 images on the computer that authorities are now reviewing. It is not known how many are considered child pornography."

Being charged as a recidivist sexual offender, it's unlike we will see him online any time soon. With Frazee in the slammer the Friends Of Web Models forum quickly disappeared from the internet; however one of the moderators from the forum, Neil Eagle AKA Vanwarrior of Glossop, United Kingdom - took it upon himself to set up some new forums, similar in style to the original Friends Of Web Models website.
Neil Eagle AKA Vanwarrior of Glossop, United Kingdom
Web Models Supporters Forum Logo
Eagle named his new forums "Web Models Supporters Forum;" true to its predecessor, Eagle provides a forum where pedophiles can drool over and exchange comments about "sample images" of girls uploaded by various child modeling websites.

David Buckingham of Melbourne, Florida used to photograph for and operate the child modeling agency known as "Lovely Models." The agency appears to have been an offshoot of his original photography business known as "Photos By Dave." Buckingham promoted his child modeling agency on the forums he set up known as "Beautiwatchers," where pedophiles could congregate and discuss the children that were being photographed.

"This is pedophilia"

David Hardman
David Hardman of Cocoa, Florida is the owner of and a photographer for the child modeling agency know as "Daylabay Productions." Hardman's website has caused him to cop some heat, when a local media outlet publicly exposed him:

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Eyewitness News has learned a Brevard County man is now putting pictures of scantily clad pre-teen models on a Web site and investigators said there's nothing they can do to stop him. Eyewitness News first reported on David Hardman in November of 2006 when posting provocative pictures of teenage girls, but now the girls appear to be even younger.

The photo and video shoots often happen on Brevard County beaches, where we've all seen kids in bathing suits, but you don't see them in the kind of bathing suits and poses David Hardman photographs.

"I'm getting so f***ing sick of you guys hanging around for no g**damn reason," Hardman angrily told Eyewitness News.

He's angry with Eyewitness News for continuing to expose him, this time for little girls in thong bikinis and sexy poses. Hardman calls it modeling.

"You keep coming around, I'm gonna g**damn get ya," he said.

Since Eyewitness News first exposed his Web site, Hardman has photographed even younger girls, just 10 and 12 years old. The photo spreads are revealing, showing girls in bathtubs, lying in beds and it's all just barely legal.

Kevin Gillick is a long-time children's advocate. He publishes the Guardian Newspaper, a free daily that outs pedophiles.

"These are obviously salacious, seductive, sexual pictures, children in thongs, 13-year-olds in latex. This is a sexual fetish. This is pedophilia," he said. "No matter what way you stack it up, that's the way it is."
Most shocking for Gillick is that the Web site describes parents attending shoots. For a $500 fee, little girls get their own DVD, sold online for $39.

"The people who buy this are people who are interested in sex and that's the purpose. So, if you're going to have your daughter do this kind of modeling and you're gonna take money for ii, know that even though it's legal, you're having your child promoted for sex," Gillick said.

Law enforcement can't do much about it, as Hardman seems careful not to cross the legal line. Since Eyewitness News' first report last year, he said his neighborhood has turned on him.

"I've said all I'm gonna do. I'm gonna get more and more violent here if I continue to talk," he said.

Eyewitness News asked Hardman that if there is nothing wrong with those pictures to put Eyewitness News in touch with one of the parents he's paid for a shoot, but he refused.

Partners in crime

Daniel Leuenberger
Sasha Fradis AKA Alexander Fradis
Sasha Fradis of Chisinau and Daniel Leuenberger of Reconvilier, Switzerland originally worked together operating a child pornography agency out of Odessa, Ukraine know as "Studio 13 Arts," only narrowly managing to escape the Ukraine before they could be arrested.

According to this document, it appears that Fradis and Leuenbergers child pornography operation began unraveling when some of the girls they were transporting from Chisinau to be photographed were intercepted by authorities:
However, the girls said that they were paid 25-50$ by two foreigners named Alexander and Daniel for being photo- and videoshooted naked.
The document elaborates further about what went on:
She told me that Sasha sleeps with Rina (whose 11-years old), though he is many years older that she is, and his looks are just terrible. In some time I saw myself how everything went on…The girls said that Sasha was a finished drug addict. The drugs were kept in a two-storeyed mansion in Sasha’s room where the computers were. The high fence was covered with wire, at the entrance gate – some kind of a TV-set, and through it the picture went into Sasha’s room. Four guards, who worked in shifts, lived in the one-storeyed house”.

Then came Daniel who spoke very bad Russian. We hardly understood that we had to be photographed in those poses which they would tell us – our pictures would be displayed at the exhibitions and placed in foreign magazines. He also said nobody had to and won’t know what we were doing. And for this job we would be paid good money.

Fradis and Leuenberger would use the desperate financial situation faced by the families of these children as a means to sexually exploit them and take advantage of them:
“Lisa had her pictures taken in all poses she was “ordered”, said Lana. “Even the way you could see everything… I was photographed in a sheet (beneath I was naked) with the music on. After some time I got used to that, and started letting it down a little, and then let it down at all… Honestly, I felt greatly ashamed, but they would pay such money which my mother wouldn’t get in a year!

Usually we stayed at Sasha’s for two-three days (from Friday till Sunday). After we’ve satisfied all his demands he would give us 50 dollars”
“Sasha used to offer me cigarettes, wine, drugs. Once he gave me a pack of pills, about six, without any name on it and said, “Take it and have fun. You’ll be jolly, free, and you can do whatever you want to. It’s nice and pleasant…” I answered, I was fine without it. I tried a cigarette – I didn’t
like it. I got a proposal to “have some love” from a guard, a former militiaman…”

Somewhere along the line things grew sour between Fradis and Leuenberger and they split:
When the thunder burst out, inventive Alexander decided to shoulder all the responsibility on his former sidekick. In a letter, placed at one of the sites he calls Daniel pretender, pathologic informer, scandalmonger, rascal, thief, and other “complimentary” epithets. Moreover, he appeals to everyone and everything not to cooperate with his former pal: the latter is, he says, extremely dangerous…
After the split occurred it sounds as though Fradis set up a new child pornography agency known as "Astral Studio," where he continued to sell the content originally produced for "Studio 13 Arts." Leuenberger went on to set up a non-nude child modeling agency for pedophiles known as "Swissarts," which he operated out of Moldova up until 2007.

Sandravenous Busted!

Paul Dennison AKA Sandravenous of Penrith, Australia operated pedophile child modeling forum known as "The SandyEllaGinny Forum" up until he was arrested and charged for providing an avenue for people to access child pornography.

SHE was the world's most sought after child porn victim, a Russian girl - with links to Sydney.

For more than 10 years the little girl known worldwide as Sandra eluded authorities as she was exploited on the internet by a network of paedophiles who paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to view her images online.

The case was finally cracked by Australian Federal Police after a 15-month investigation.

They were stunned to learn the bagman for the international network was living near Penrith.

Yesterday, Paul Randal Dennison, 47, of Emu Heights, was jailed for three years and four months after pleading guilty to two counts of using a carriage service to make child pornography available, possessing child pornography and two counts of using a carriage service to access child pornography.

Dennison also pleaded guilty to dealing in the proceeds of crime after almost $700,000 from around the world passed through his Westpac account.

Also found on his computer were the controversial images of naked children shot by Sydney artist Bill Henson, for which he was not charged.

The leniency of the penalty stunned many at the sentencing.

Dennison told police he believed he was helping the girls by passing on the money, a remark that prompted judge Anthony Blackmore to describe him as "deluded".

"In my view he was sufficiently intelligent to recognise that he was both morally and, importantly, criminally wrong," he said.

Judge Blackmore declared he needed to send a strong message against child pornography, before issuing the relatively light sentence in which, with parole, Dennison could be out in two years.

"The comments by the judge show the severity of the particular issue and the AFP supports the comments of the judge - that he's talking about the matter being very severe," AFP Assistant Commissioner Neil Gaughan said.

After one of the most significant arrests in Australian policing, Russian authorities shut the site and are in the process of arresting two men, known as Boris and Vlad, who exploited Sandra, and two other young girls, since she began modelling in 1998.
